Plans have been filed to build a ten-story mixed-use building in Astoria, Ore. The building will have a total of 43,423 square-feet of available space, with 10,048 of its square-feet being reserved for community facilities such as medical offices. The ground floor of the building will house an unspecified amount of retail space. The property was purchased for $5 million, although it is unclear what the proposed building’s construction costs or timeline would be.
Vintage Chicago Office Building for Sale for Roughly $27 Million
A venture of Marc Realty, a Chicago-based real estate firm, is looking to sell a vintage ten-story office building in the southwest corner of Chicago’s Loop. The building, which was purchased for $22.3 million, possesses 198,193 square-feet and is currently 94% occupied. It is expected that the building’s asking price will be around $27 million.
$300 Million Mixed-Use Development Underway in Memphis
Gilad Development Co., a California-based development company, has begun work on its $300 million Lake District project in Memphis, Tenn. The 161-acre site will be developed over two phases. The first phase will see the construction of 109 townhomes, a hotel, 146,000 square-feet of inline retail, a movie theater-bowling entertainment center, and a grocery store. Going up in Phase Two will be a hotel, 160,000 square-feet of retail, 171 single-family homes, 75,000 square-feet of office space, and 396 apartments.
Developer Proposes Two Office Buildings in Downtown Bellevue
Fana Group of Companies, a real estate investment and development firm, has submitted an application to build two office buildings in Bellevue, Wash. The first will be a 17-story tower comprising 368,000 square-feet of office space, 7,570 square-feet of ground floor retail, and 4,470 square-feet of common space. The second will be a seven-story office building with 166,800 square-feet of office space, 5,180 square-feet of retail space, and 2,640 square-feet of common space. The project’s estimated timeline and construction costs are currently unknown.
102,000 SF Office Building Being Built in Las Vegas
A pair of Las Vegas developers have broken ground on a project titled Narrative, a Class A office building in the southwest part of the city. The four-story building will consist of 102,000 square-feet and is expected to be completed by Q4 2020. The building’s estimated costs are currently unknown.
