GH Palmer Associates, a real estate developer in Beverly Hills, has acquired 23 acres of Mission Valley’s east side. The property is zoned for a 1,000 home multifamily project and will also be used for a 37,500 square-feet commercial and retail spaces.
Citizen Committee Overseeing $620 Million School Construction Plan
Salem-Keizer school district in Oregon is set to spend $620 million in construction. A citizen committee and advisory board which meets quarterly is overseeing the district’s construction bond — a bond approved by voters in spring 2018. The first year of the district’s five-year construction plan is underway.

Fluor Corporation — an engineering construction company based in Irving, Texas — has been named a finalist for Construction Project of the Year for the S&P Global Platts Global Energy Awards according to a press release. Fluor’s grassroots project, named Poly 6, was the newest addition to Dow’s Freeport, Texas site.

Bethel, Vermont Bridge Project Reaches Construction Milestone
Vermont Route 12 bridge replacement project has reached a construction milestone. The $6.4 million project north of downtown Bethel, Vt. has been completed for the season, according to the Transportation Agency. Contractors will return mid-November to continue work on the new bridge.
