East West Partners Pays $23.97 Million for 14-Acre Site in South Carolina
An affiliate of East West Partners, a Denver-based real estate development firm, has paid $23.97 million for 14 acres on Kiawah Island, S.C. The firm plans to develop 70 residential dwellings as part of a master residential development being built on the 10,000-acre island. Development will begin in 2021.
Union Bank & Trust to Build 137,000 SF Office Building Near Omaha
Union Bank & Trust, a Lincoln-based bank and financial services firm, is spearheading the construction of a new office building near Omaha, Neb. Once built, the building will feature 137,000 square-feet of space between its five floors. The project has an unknown construction cost and will be opened in 2022.
Construction Wrapping Up On Ten-Story Residential Building in Manhattan
Construction is wrapping up on a new residential building in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The new ten-story building will contain eight luxury residences and will feature package and bicycle storage areas, a recreation room, a fitness center, and a shared roof deck. The project will be completed by the beginning of 2021, and it is unknown how much construction will cost.
$17.5 Million Mixed-Use Hotel Project Planned in Omaha
A new mixed-use development is being proposed for midtown Omaha, Neb. The half-acre project, which will be developed by Dan Marak of Kansas City, MO., will contain a 7,300 square-foot commercial space on the first floor and will contain 95 hotel rooms on the upper six floors. The project will cost $17.5 million and will be completed by Summer 2022.
Chicago Developer Plans 936 Multifamily Units in Sacramento
29th Street Capital, a Chicago-based real estate development and management firm, has acquired a 65-acre parcel in Sacramento’s River District. Once completed, the project will yield more than 900 multifamily units with the potential to expand development to more than 1,400 total multifamily units in later phases.
