Construction is nearly complete on a new maritime center being built in Plymouth, Mass. Opening the new $4.5 million building was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, but the town has decided to open main portions to the public. The new building features office space, restrooms, and a 10-foot lift with panoramic views.
Ferguson Enterprises Nears Completion on $82.8 Million HQ Building in Virginia
Ferguson Enterprises, a Maine-based plumbing supplies manufacturing firm, is quickly completing work on their next headquarters building in Newport News, Va. The new $82.8 million building features 260,000 square-feet across its eight stories and will consolidate all of the firm’s departments under one roof.
Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis Finishes $49 Million Expansion
The Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis, MO has raised the curtain on a new multi million-dollar expansion of their theater. The $49 million expansion yielded 52,000 square-feet of space featuring a new 450-seat theater, community space, a new lobby, three dance studios, a costume shop, and office space. Construction took approximately three-and-a-half years.
Boston Properties Acquires 50% Stake in Creative Office Space in Southern California
Boston Properties, Inc., a Boston-based real estate investment trust, has acquired a 50% interest in the Beach Cities Media Campus development project underway in El Segundo, Calif. for $21.2 million. Once completed, the project will yield 275,000 square-feet of Class-A creative office space, 66,000 square-feet of studio and production space, and 7,000 square-feet of retail.
175-Unit Luxury Apartment Community Opening in Minneapolis
A new luxury apartment community is set to open in Minneapolis in October 2020. The complex, named The Asher, will feature 175 residential units and will include amenities such as a pool, a rooftop deck, a fitness center, a clubroom, and coworking stations. The property’s estimated construction costs and timeline are both unknown.
