Wisconsin Town to Get 68-Room Hotel and 16,000 SF Office Building
The city of West Bend, Wis. Has sold a portion of a former manufacturing site in its downtown in order to develop a 68-room hotel and 16,000 square-foot office building. The city sold the 3.3 acres of land for $1 to West Bend Hotel Associates LLC. The proposed development’s estimated construction costs and timeline are currently unknown.
Las Vegas Surgical Center Goes on the Market for $2.9 Million
A surgery center and medical office building in Las Vegas has been put up for sale with a price tag of $2.9 million. The surgical suite of the 8,000 square-foot building features two operating rooms, two recovery rooms, a laundry room, and a separate reception room. The medical office space includes 3 regular office spaces, an executive office, a laundry room, reception rooms, and 12 exam rooms. No known bids have been made on the building yet.
MB Real Estate Purchases Chicago Office Building for $19 Million
MB Real Estate, a Chicago-based real estate investment firm, has recently purchased an office building in downtown Chicago. The building in question is a 43,000 square-foot structure in the city’s Fulton Market district. The four-story structure cost the firm $19 million and represents the continued expansion of its portfolio in downtown Chicago.
Facebook to Add Two More Buildings to $1 Billion Ohio Data Center
Facebook is planning to add two more buildings to its data center campus in New Albany, Ohio. Once complete, Facebook’s campus will consist of five buildings totaling more than 1 million square-feet. The campus’ third building will be complete next year, with the final two set for completion in the next few years. Construction of the campus is set to cost the social media giant more than $1 billion.
Developer Gets Green Light for $65 Million Mixed-Use Project in San Antonio
Weal Development LLC, an Austin-based real estate development company, has gotten the go-ahead to seek building permits for an eight-story mixed-use project in downtown San Antonio, Texas. The 410,000 square-foot project will feature 252 apartments, ground-floor retail, and a parking garage. The structure is set for completion in March 2022 and will cost $65 million.
