Doctor’s Office in North Carolina Purchases Medical Office Building for $1.65 Million

Triad Adult and Pediatric Medicine, a doctor’s office based in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina, has purchased a vacant medical office building in High Point, N.C. for $1.65 million. The four-story building contains a total of 13,445 square-feet of medical office space and will be used to house both administrative and medical staff.


City in Colorado to Purchase New Building for $3.2 Million

The West Metropolitan District Board of Pueblo, Col. has unanimously voted to purchase a building to house its new civic center. The board agreed to acquire a 17,339 square-foot building, previously used as a showroom and service garage, for $3.2 million. The board’s vote came after it was discovered that they could not construct a new building and keep building costs under the established $6 million budget.

Fastenal Breaks Ground on Four-Story Office Building in Minnesota

Fastenal, the national hardware chain, has broken ground on a new office building in Winona, Minn. Once completed, the four-story building will bring between 400 and 600 employees to the city’s downtown. The project is slated for completion in mid-2021, though its estimated construction costs are currently unknown.

Frantz Eyecare to Build New Surgery Center in Naples

Frantz Eyecare, one of the leading LASIK surgery providers in south Florida, is building a new surgery center in Naples, Fla. Stevens Construction, the lead contractor, indicates that the 5,528 square-foot center will have a medical office on the ground-floor, as well as an optical boutique, 21 exam rooms, and a central diagnostic testing room. Construction is expected to wrap up in fall 2020, though it’s unknown how much the project will cost.


Permits Filed to Construct 11,103 SF Mixed-Use Building in Brooklyn

Permits have been filed to construct a new mixed-use building in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill neighborhood. Once completed, the seven-story building will feature 9,000 square-feet of residential space and 2,103 square-feet of commercial space. An estimated completion date has not been announced and the project’s estimated construction costs remain unknown.
