Architecture Firm Deepens Montana Roots
Hart Howerton, San Francisco-based architecture firm, has announced their master plan for a resort community in Big Sky, Mont. LakeLodge at Moonlight Basin will feature 16 upscale residences once completed. Hart Howerton has completed previous projects in Big Sky, including the Montage Hotel Big Sky which has 39 luxury residences.
Renewable Energy Operations Begin at Two Plants
Enel Green Power North America, a renewable energy company through multinational energy company Enel, has begun operations at two renewable plants in the United States. The two plants are totaling 318 MW of capacity and include the first phase of the Roadrunner solar project in Texas as well as the Whitney Hill wind project in Illinois.
Renovation Project Approved for UGA’s Film and Digital Media Program
After receiving approval for a renovation project, the University of Georgia’s new master’s program in film and television will have a new home. The University System of Georgia Board of Regents approved the renovation plan for more than 5,800 square feet of space in UGA’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications. The $3.75 million project will be funded through private donations.
The Kislak Company Purchases Multifamily Portfolio for $15.7 Million
A multifamily portfolio in Bergen County, New Jersey has recently sold for $15.7 million. The three-property multifamily portfolio totaling 87 residential units sold in an off-market deal to The Kislak Company, Inc., a commercial real estate agency based in New Jersey.
AIA Fellow Chosen to Lead Dallas Chapter as Executive Director
Zaida Basora, American Institute of Architects (AIA) Fellow, has been chosen as the new Executive Director for the Architecture and Design Foundation and the AIA Dallas Chapter. After an eight-month, nationwide search, the foundation chose Basora to lead the two organizations as they experience continued growth.
