Biotech Firm to Construct New $18 Million Building in Omaha

Streck Inc., a Nebraska-based biotech company, has decided to build a new $18 million facility in Omaha to store a major piece of equipment. The 78,000 square-foot building will expand the firm’s footprint by about 40%, though its estimated completion date is currently unknown.


Construction Ramps Up on 531-Room Hotel in Manhattan

Construction is ramping up on a new hotel in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards neighborhood. The structure, which will operate under Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide once completed in fall 2022, will be 487-feet-tall and will contain 531 guest rooms across its more than 250,000 square-feet.The project’s estimated construction costs are currently uncertain, though it’s known that the developers paid $37 million for the structure’s plot.

Proposal Filed to Build a Mixed-Use Building in Queens

Permits have been filed to construct a nine-story mixed-use building in Queens’ Flushing neighborhood. The proposed 92-foot-tall development would contain 158,111 square-feet, with 68,151 square-feet dedicated to residential space, 39,501 square-feet dedicated to commercial space, and 50,459 square-feet for community facility space. The project’s estimated construction costs and completion date are currently unknown.


City in New Jersey OK’s Construction of Industrial Building

The city of Vineland, N.J. has given the go-ahead to a local firm to build a 140,000 square-foot industrial building. The new building will split its space into a ground floor with 125,000 square-feet and a mezzanine of about 15,000 square-feet. Neither the building’s estimated construction costs or completion date are currently known.


Bancroft Capital Advisors Buys Colorado Office Building

Bancroft Capital Advisors, a California-based real estate investment firm, has purchased an office building in Lakewood, Colo. for $11.3 million. The four-story office building features 84,145 square-feet of office space. The buying firm plans to add amenities and upgrade the property’s common area.
