Rendina Healthcare Selected to Develop 140,000 SF Medical Office Space in Portland

Rendina Healthcare Real Estate, a Florida-based healthcare real estate development firm, has been selected to develop downtown Portland’s first new medical office building development in 50 years. Once completed, the 140,000 square-feet Class-A medical office facility will comprise seven floors of custom physician space and 8,000 square-feet of ground-floor retail space. The project is expected to be completed in 2023.

$5 Million VA Hospital Being Built in New Hampshire

A new VA hospital building is being constructed in Manchester, N.H. Once completed, the $5 million project will yield a 150-bed hospital featuring rooftop gardens, kitchen and dining facilities, a chapel, and  multiple floors of patient care space. The building’s estimated completion date is currently unknown.


MetroTex Association of Realtors Buys 10-Acre Plot in Irving

The MetroTex Association of Realtors, a North Texas-based real estate organization and investment group, has purchased a 10-acre parcel in Irving, Texas. The firm has indicated that they intend to construct a new headquarters building that can comfortably fit their 50-plus staff. They have not indicated when they intend to start construction or what its cost would be.


Daiwa House Texas Inc. Becomes Partner in 42-Story Mixed-Use Tower in Manhattan

A partnership between Lendlease, an Australian multinational developer, and Manhattan-based L+M Development Partners has Daiwa House Texas Inc. as a new equity partner for its new 42-story mixed-use tower in Manhattan’s Morningside Heights neighborhood. The project will contain 165 condos, 54,000 square-feet of academic space, and 49,000 square-feet for faculty housing. Construction is slated for completion in spring 2023.

Progress Made on 73-Story Supertall Skyscraper in Brooklyn

Significant progress has been made on the construction of 9 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn. Once complete, the 73-story skyscraper will contain 575 residential units, an outdoor terrace, a rooftop pool, and 120,000 square-feet of retail space. The building will be finished in 2022, though its construction costs are currently unknown.
