Purple Innovation to Build New $21 Million Manufacturing Facility in Georgia

Purple Innovation, Inc., a Utah-based comfort technology manufacturer, has selected Henry County, Ga. as the home for its new manufacturing plant. Once completed, the $21 million facility will feature 1.1 million square-feet of space of which 519,680 square-feet will be leased to Purple Innovation. The building is expected to be fully operational by 2021.


Weyerhaeuser Progressing on New Development in North Carolina

Weyerhaeuser, a Seattle-based real estate developer, has indicated that work is progressing on a new mixed-use community in New Bern, N.C. The new project will yield 224 apartments, 73 single family homes, a government office, a convenience store, a medical center, and a 25-plus acre lake chain with green spaces and walking paths. Phase One of the project is expected to be operational in 2021.

Badiee Development Completes Work on Office Space in California

Badiee Development, a real estate developer based in Southern California, has completed construction of a new flex industrial building in Carlsbad, Calif. The building, dubbed Carlsbad Innovatie, features 50,150 square-feet of Class-A office space. It currently boasts a 70% lease rate. The building’s estimated construction costs and timeline are currently unknown.

Grosvenor Americas Purchases Two Properties in Washington, D.C.

Grosvenor Americas, a San Francisco-based real estate investment and development firm, has acquired a new mixed-use residential building and a smaller, separate condo in Washington, D.C. The mixed-use building, titled 340 Morse Street, will include 265,000 square-feet of space and feature 260 apartments once it’s completed in 2023. The new condo features 55,000 square-feet of residential space. Neither building’s acquisition price was released.


Work Nears Completion on 26,070 SF Mixed-Use Building in Brooklyn

Work is nearly finished on a new mixed-use building in Brooklyn’s South Williamsburg neighborhood. The six-story building, titled 302 Broadway, will feature 5,790 square-feet of ground-floor retail space, 5,970 square-feet of medical office space, a 12-car garage, and 24 residential units. The building’s estimated construction costs are currently unknown.
