125,000 SF Cold Storage and Manufacturing Facility to be Built in Colorado

The City Council of Round Rock, Colo. has approved an agreement with Investex II LLC, a local developer, to build a new cold storage and manufacturing facility. Once complete, the 125,000 square-foot facility will be run by local manufacturer Triple Temp Cold Storage LLC. The project’s estimated construction costs are currently unknown, though the facility is expected to open in August 2021.


Residential Development Being Built in Rhode Island

A new residential development is going up near a Catholic church in Westerly, R.I. Plans call for the conversion of a Catholic School building into apartments, as well as the construction of two new apartment buildings, yielding a total of 41 residential units. The project’s estimated construction costs and completion timeline are both unknown.

Proposal Calls for Conversion of Middle School into Residential Units in Milwaukee

A former middle school building may soon become apartments in Milwaukee. If allowed to proceed, local affordable housing developer Gorman & Company will convert the 144,062 square-foot building into 64 residential units. It’s unknown how long construction would take or what its cost would be.

Work Completed on New 544,000 SF Warehouse in St. Louis

Contegra Construction Co., an Illinois-based construction company, has completed work on a new warehouse northeast of St. Louis. The 544,000 square-foot building is the first to be constructed at the new Gateway Tradeport, a 7.5 million square-foot industrial park. The new structure features a clear height of 36 feet and parking for 157 trailers. The project’s estimated construction costs are currently unknown.


Foundation Work Nearly Complete on 26-Story Mixed-Use Tower in Brooklyn

Foundation work is nearing completion on an upcoming 26-story mixed-use residential project in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood. Once completed, the 133,340 square-foot project will feature a 251-room hotel and 21 condominiums. The building’s estimated construction costs are currently unknown, though it’s slated for an open date of fall 2021.
