Hoboken Mixed-Use Properties Sell for $200 Million
A portfolio of 39 mixed-use properties near the waterfront in Hoboken, N.J. has been sold. The portfolio, which totaled 278,879 square-feet, contained 129 residential units and 171,959 square-feet of retail space. The sale price for the properties was approximately $200 million.
Samsung Plans 75,000 SF Expansion in Plano
Samsung is planning to expand its footprint in Plano, Texas. The company has filed plans with the state of Texas to construct a new workspace that will contain 75,000 square-feet, with an estimated completion date of September 2020. This proposed development would be built in addition to the 200,000 square-feet of space currently leased by the company in the area. The project’s estimated construction costs are not currently known.
NW Missouri State University Approves Agricultural Learning Center
The Northwest Missouri State University Board of Regents has recently approved a proposal calling for the construction of a new Agricultural Learning Center. The $11 million facility will house classroom, laboratory, kitchen, exposition, and office space across its 29,500 square-feet. The project will open in spring 2021.
Nacero Inc. Announces $3 Billion Manufacturing Facility
Nacero Inc., a Houston-based natural gas extraction and distribution firm, has announced plans to construct a $3 billion natural-gas-to-gasoline manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Ariz. The massive facility will produce 35,000 barrels of gasoline per day and will generate 265 permanent jobs in the area. Construction will commence in 2021 and be completed by 2025.
Atlantic City International Airport Gets $1 Million Grant
Atlantic City International Airport has been awarded $1 million in state grants to construct a deicing containment facility. The funds were part of a larger $4.8 million grant awarded to nine airports in the state. The project’s estimated full construction costs, as well as its completion timeline, are currently unknown.
