Developers are proposing building two new student housing communities at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Why is it important?
Construction of the development would provide more housing options to students at UTD, which currently does not have the capacity to house even 20% of its total enrollment.

First building will be 16-stories tall and will include 272 apartments, as well as a four-story parking garage
