News: Taco Comfort Solutions Employee Arrested for Embezzlement

Financial and inventory anomalies caused Taco Comfort Solutions to conduct an internal investigation. The said investigation revealed evidence of misappropriation of company assets from their Cranston manufacturing facility.

Who?

The criminal investigation initiated by the Cranston Police Department led to the arrest of Dario D. Smith.

When?

February 16, 2021.

What happened?

Detectives conducted a court-authorized search at Smith’s residence, resulting in the seizure of significant company assets. Smith has been charged with a felony count of embezzlement. His employment was immediately terminated by the company. Taco Comfort Solutions, and its ownership, is fully cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing.
