According to VPI Quality Windows, its Endurance and Envision Series products have been verified by the Passive House Institute US, Inc. This certification makes VPI Quality Windows a part of the PHIUS Verified Window Performance database.

What products were verified?

VPI offers hinged products from the Endurance Series, and the Envision Swing Door and Window Series. All the products are triple glazed and meet the Passive House Institute standards for efficiency.

What does the PHIUS certification signify?

The PHIUS database is a voluntary program intended to verify the accuracy of the energy performance data for windows and their components needed to precisely model passive building energy balances.

Why is this important?

The certification of VPI Quality Windows means there is now a proven, American-made window option included in the database for multi-family architects and building contractors using modeling to design carbon-neutral multi-family buildings.

“We are known for our superior quality, design and service,” said Daniel Castillo, EVP & President of JELD-WEN North America. “The recognition that our windows meet the stringent PHIUS certification requirements gives architects and builders a proven partner when designing to meet their sustainability standards.”
