Coalesse - through their designs - is known for helping humanize the workplace and making the new life of work better. The company believes that when employees are given the tools and choice to work from a variety of settings, their choice as to which office they will come to will be greatly influenced by design. Coalesse has always been a champion of hybrid workforce designs.

Below are several of their indoor and outdoor designs to help redefine how we think about the modern office environment.

The Marien152

The Marien152 Seating Collection designed by Arik Levy and the Coalesse Design Group is a richly tailored seating experience that’s inspired by the home and designed for the workday. An innovative back cushion provides unexpected support with soft, residential style. Easy personalization is built into the collection through a wide range of color, form, and materiality choices.

Emu Rio R50

Emu Rio R50, designed by Anton Cristell and Emanuel Gargano, offers both comfort and durability as an affordable yet enduring solution through Coalesse, bringing the universally positive associations of relaxation and comfort, as well as the surprising social benefit of putting people at ease at work. Working outside can enrich wellbeing as well as increase creativity and productivity.

The Hosu Lounge

Personal enclaves at the office will be more important than ever in the new life of work to support focus and rejuvenation. These short-term retreat spaces give a change of pace - and of posture - from sitting at a desk. The Hosu Lounge, designed by Patricia Urquiola, creates a comforting personal space to spread out and get things done.

Massaud Lounge Seating

Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud and the Coalesse Design Group with a modern, residential sensibility, the Massaud Lounge Seating collection balances luxury and utility – beautifully crafted for comfort in the workplace. The collection provides design continuity with a global aesthetic across a range of seating solutions including lounge and conference seating.

The Nanimarquina Collection for Coalesse

Rugs have often been used as a way to delineate one space from another in a home and can do the same in the office while providing warmth and texture from the ground up. The trick is making sure this type of flooring will stand up to the daily traffic and use a workplace application demands. The Nanimarquina Collection for Coalesse does just that while also celebrating the art of weaving. It includes 6 nature-inspired patterns, designed to bring a residential sensibility to workspaces while creating soft boundaries in the office.

Why are these designs important?

The designs for hybrid workforces can deliver opportunities such as:

  • Design rooted in residential sensibilities with the rigor required for daily work.
  • Spaces that encourage wellbeing through physical, social, emotional and cognitive comfort.
  • Environments that convey warmth, vitality and soul.
  • Diverse settings that support changing postures and work modes throughout the day.
